Grand Theft Auto 3

Third Installment of the Grand Theft Auto Franchise, Grand Theft Auto 3 or Grand Theft Auto III. This game really propelled Rockstar North into the limelight.

3 Dimensional Graphics, the first of its kind 3D enginewise, used in an entire city was a first for gaming. The cars were cool and the the action even cooler. The cars really blew up and started to smoke before you blew them up or they blew you up.

The action play with a storyline! Who would of thought? A combination of third person shooter and a driving game. The best of both worlds! What else can you throw into an ultra cool game?

You like music? Of course you do! Grand Theft Auto 3 has radio stations built into all the car you carjack! Just grab some character out of their car. Whammo, instant tunes for you game. Lol, who would of thought that would be fun. You can even change the channels. Isn't that sweet?

Interesting enough the original police Cars in this game were suppose to be made like NYPD cars but after Sept 11, 2001 the cars were changed to black and white from blue and white.

Grand Theft Auto 3 is available for the PC, Playstation 2, and Xbox.

Rockstar North knew they had a hit game! In a years time they introduced Grand Theft Auto Vice City. The franchise was firing on all cylinders and all the Grand Theft Autos began to be must have games upon release.
